More about Courtney Glenn, Student Midwife

With ten years of experience supporting birth in the hospital, birth center, and at home settings, Courtney has come to believe that the midwifery model of care is essential to reducing disparities related to maternal and infant health and mortality.

When not at a birth, Courtney can be found playing in makeup, watching Jeopardy with her grandmother, or reading her newest Amazon Prime impulse buy. Currently, she’s developing a documentary to be released January 2020 titled RECLAIM THE WORK chronicling her personal connection to largely unknown Grand Midwives and the contemporary challenges faced by Black Women who desire to pursue this vocation.
